Fresh Success Program
Fresh Success is a voluntary CalFresh Employment & Training program that serves CalFresh recipients at community colleges, community-based organizations, and adult education centers. By providing case management and supportive services beyond food assistance, the Fresh Success Program helps students advance toward their career goals. At LATTC, Fresh Success is part of Basic Needs.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
Fresh Success participants must:
- Have declared a major or academic objective
- Have LATTC as their home campus
- Have less than 90 accumulated units in the LACCD
- Intend to work in field of study after graduating
- Be enrolled in CalFresh (SNAP) in Los Angeles County: If you have not applied for CalFresh and are unsure if you are eligible, apply for CalFresh HERE.
- NOT be enrolled in CalWORKs: With the exception of heads of household that receive child-only CalWORKs who may be eligible

*Eligibility for Fresh Success does not guarantee eligibility for all of the resources that are distributed through Fresh Success. Rather, joining Fresh Success is the prerequisite of consideration for the resources we have available. Eligibility for those resources is structured around the guidelines of our federal funding source as well as district guidelines, and is based primarily on LATTC unit enrollment and documentation that the resources provided will have a tangible effect on participants' academic success.
