Undocumented Student Action Week
October 16 - 20, 2023
Creating Belonging for Undocumented Students
Undocumented Student Action Week is celebrating 7 years of events state-wide, workshops and trainings to inform community allies and colleges about how they can build a strong ecosystem that breaks down silos and promotes a collaborative campus approach for our undocumented students. The Dream Resource Center is proud to be an avid participator of Undocumented Student Action Week and through it, we aim to elevate the student experience.
"Here at LATTC, the safety, well-being, and success of our Undocumented Students are our top priorities. The Dream Resource Center and our highly trained staff are here to support and embrace our Undocumented Students while providing a sense of community and belonging. It is our commitment to ensure that every student has the opportunity to succeed both academically and personally."
- Dimitrios Synodinos, Interim Vice President, Student Services
This year's theme, 'Creating Belonging for Undocumented Students,' reflects LATTC's unwavering commitment to supporting students right from the start of their educational journey. We are acutely aware of the challenges our students encounter while striving to achieve their goals, often hampered by limited access to financial resources. That's why, during this week, our mission is to foster a sense of belonging for undocumented students by raising $6,000 for student scholarships and financial assistance
