Welcome to the start of Spring semester! We’re glad you have decided to join us at Trade-Tech. As you begin your first few days here on campus, we want to share helpful information to help you get settled into the new school year. Here are some things you should know:
Spring 2025 Schedule
Students who carrying a full load of classes are able to reach their academic and career goals faster, while also getting the most of their financial aid benefits. If you're still looking to add a class to your Spring schedule, view our latest offerings online.
Welcome Center
Do you want to add another class or two? Are you looking to get your student ID card? Need assistance resetting your password? The Welcome Center is your one-stop shop to get you all set up and ready for the semester ahead. Visit the Welcome Center at The Hub/D3 Building during the hours below.

Monday–Thursday: 8 am–6 pm
Fridays: 8 am–12 pm (virtually via Cranium Cafe)
Counseling
Unsure of which classes to take to reach your educational goal? Make time to speak with a counselor for academic guidance. During the first week of Spring semester, Counselors will be stationed in the Library/D3, 2nd floor, Monday, February 10–Thursday, February 13: 8 am–6 pm.

Parking
General parking permits are $20, and preferred parking permits are $27. Permits may be purchased at the Business Office located on the first floor of the E5 building (service windows 11–15) during regular operating hours. A valid permit must be displayed on vehicles at times while parked at any LATTC garage location.

Laptop Loans
Did you know that LATTC students can borrow a laptop at no cost for a full semester? Students are able to check out a laptop for Spring semester. See below for the latest loaner dates for Spring, along with the check-out hours available through the college’s library. Laptops are subject to availability.

Beyond the laptop loaner program, the Library is a great resource, with countless resources— including books, articles, media, and journals—access to computer stations, quiet individual or group study spaces, and events periodically hosted throughout the year.

Tutoring
Free in-person and online tutoring is available to all LATTC students across a variety of subjects including Math, English, Chemistry, Biology, Basic Skills, and more! Visit the Tutoring Center during their hours below.

Student Health Center / Via Care
LATTC students are eligible for healthcare services through the college’s healthcare partner, Via Care Community Health Center. Students can receive healthcare services on campus at our Student Health Center, at the Via Care East Cesar E. Chavez Clinic, or via telehealth.
