Hispanic Heritage Month: September 15–October 15

Los Angeles Trade-Technical College (LATTC) celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month September 15–October 15, 2025! Join the college for events throughout the month-long celebration to acknowledge the contributions of Latino communities and celebrate their rich cultural heritage as a campus. 


Mesoamerican Clay Workshop
Thursday, September 18 | 9:30 am–11:30 am

Take part in an interactive workshop to learn, create, and connect through traditional clay-making practices rooted in Mesoamerican heritage.


Día de la Familia | Family Day
Saturday, September 20 | 9 am–1 pm
Culinary Arts/E3 Building Outdoor Plaza
A festive family celebration featuring food, music, a low-rider car show and academic and informative activities that honors the rich culture of Latinx peoples and community. Open to all prospective and continuing students and their families.


Aztec Dancers
Monday, September 22 | 12:30–1:30 pm

Experience a powerful Aztec dance performance in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.


Paint and Sip
Wednesday, September 24 | 11:30 am–1 pm 
Culinary Arts/E3 Building dining patio
Unwind with a creative afternoon of painting while enjoying refreshing drinks. All materials will be  provided, just bring your imagination.

Film Screening: Tiempo de morir [Time to Die] (1966)

The LATTC Library celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month with a film screening of the 1966 Mexican Western Tiempo de morir [Time to Die]. The film's script was written by Gabriel García Márquez (One Hundred Years of Solitude) and Carlos Fuentes (The Death of Artemio Cruz), two of the most famous writers from Latin America.


Caballo Dorado: Line Dancing
