2024 General Election Voter Information
Voter empowerment and civic engagement is an essential part of the college experience and contributes to democratic participation in our society.
Los Angeles Trade-Technical College (LATTC) aims to encourage voter empowerment and civic engagement, and connect students with resources, services, and partnerships that will help them in their journey to become active and empowered global citizens.
Here are some voter tips to help prepare for the 2024 General Election happening on Tuesday, November 5.
Things to Know
The last day to register to vote by mail for the November 5, 2024, General Election is Monday, October 21, 2024.
- All California active registered voters will receive a vote-by-mail ballot for the General Election.
- Your county elections office will begin mailing ballots by October 7, 2024.
- Ballot drop-off locations open on October 8, 2024. LATTC has a ballot drop-off box located on Grand Ave.
- Vote-by-mail ballots can be returned by mail, at a drop-off location, or your county elections office.
- Voting centers open for early in-person voting in all Voter’s Choice Act counties beginning October 26, 2024.
- Vote-by-mail ballots must be postmarked on or before Election Day and received by November 12, 2024.
Voting Center at LATTC
Los Angeles Trade-Technical College will serve as a Voting Center for the November 5, 2024 General Election. The Voting Center will be located in the F5 Building, Room 101 during the following dates and times:

Saturday, November 2–Monday, November 4, 2024
Voting hours: 10 am–7 pm
