Basic Needs Winter Coat Drive

Basic Needs at LATTC has long been meeting the needs of our students, and opened the doors to its physical space on campus, The Beaver's Lounge, last November. At the Beaver’s Lounge, students can receive individualized resources to bridge the gap between basic needs insecurities and academic success. Basic Needs Insecurities (BNI) can include housing, food, clothes, homelessness, physical and mental health, and safety. 

From November 1–14, 2024, The Beaver’s Lounge will host a Winter Coat Drive, collecting new or lightly worn and washed coats, jackets, and sweaters for our Basic Needs students this winter. Please feel free to drop off items at the Lounge during their regular hours listed below.
